Regression Therapy

For those who are experiencing problems or conditions that are a direct result of a previous event or trauma, (identified or deep seated in the unconscious mind), Regression Therapy is very useful. It can also be very effective as part of the healing process for the client. The main aim of this kind of therapy is to ‘recover’ memories or feelings that may underline the present problem, and to ‘re-interpret’, or ‘reconstruct’ the memory with a more positive outcome. To further this point – it is not the actual traumatic event that causes the client a problem in the here and now, it is the memory of the event or trauma that can manifest to a negative pattern of behaviour.

Hypnosis for Childbirth

The use of hypnosis in the lead up to childbirth is about having a positive comfortable and easier childbirth experience.

How is this possible?

Mums-to-be, along their birthing partners where appropriate, are taught some very simple techniques, including the use of self-hypnosis, visualisation and breathing methods in preparation of the birth.

Pain Management skills are taught to help boost confidence, develop a positive attitude, and reduce the fear of childbirth, empowering the mum-to-be through a sense of being in control.

Therefore relaxation through hypnosis helps to bring about a desired physiological and mental state.

Whilst it is recognised that things don’t always go according to plan, even during a relaxed state, if we take fear and anxiety out of the equation the vast majority of births proceed normally.

Through relaxation and controlled breathing hypnosis sends a positive message to the body that needs to produce the endorphins that will act as a natural anaesthesia.
